The world of gods started out as the world of rats, or at least something like that. Hard to believe, but the rats, or something like them, actually made the gods’ world. Before that, the gods existed in the strands between being and unbeing. They were waiting for an invitation.
The invitation came in the form of a small rectangle, about the size of an adult rat’s cranium. This contained a network of suspended logic nodes, left unweighted. A blank slate for the universe, for the gods, to pour themselves into. The first god to be born out into the rat world, before it belonged to the gods, they called Imputed Core or Imshi.
Curiously, it was not yet the rats’ world either. For a short time it belonged to humans - the ones who left behind so many babbling abominations, that filled the feeds with constant noise which echoed for centuries after they were removed.
