First, assume a comfortable posture and close your eyes. Clear you mind of distractions as best you can, etc etc. Now focus on the point at the tip of your nose. Focus all your attention until your nose seems to occupy roughly half your attention. More is better.
Now push that point outward from your face slightly. Your internal proprioception may fight you on this, but that’s the exercise. Keep going back to the point, and keep stretching it out.
Done well, your mind’s nose will extend outward to a ludicrous degree.
